Release 0.6.0
The Mapnik team is pleased to announce our 0.6.0 release.
This release has tons of new features, improved stability and better usability.

Hi, I want use Python since it is the programming language that one of my classes is using. I see there is a chance that 2.6 might not work, but v3.1.1 is suppose to be backwards compatible so I'll check and see and let you know.
Mapnik works with python 2.6, but we are waiting for boost python support for py3k to start working on that version. https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/browser/sandbox-branches/bhy
